May 15th-18th was a significant milestone for both Robin AI and myself, marking our first visit to the annual CLOC Global Institute event at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, where we were also Silver Sponsors.

CLOC is widely acknowledged as the leading event that brings together the entire legal ecosystem to focus on legal innovation and transformation, so the opportunity to attend such an important event at an iconic venue alongside my fellow Robins to showcase our modular contract software, was truly exciting.

Reflecting back on my experiences at CLOC, I’d like to share a few recurring themes from my conversations with various attendees, to highlight some key areas of interest expressed by members of the legal community:

CLM’s - Many people I spoke to came to CLOC looking for CLM software to manage their contracts, unaware that what they may actually require is something more modular, that enables users to focus on individual aspects of the contract lifecycle as it develops from an initial draft through to a fully-signed agreement.

Tech - It’s evident from talking to attendees that there’s a real push within the legal space to find cutting-edge technological solutions that continue to streamline the contracting process, so CLOC provided the perfect stage for Robin AI to showcase what our platform can do.

Assurance - With the world of AI constantly evolving, attendees spoke to me of their need for reassurance and transparency regarding areas such as data security, as well as a dedicated Customer Success Manager tasked with ensuring they get the best out of products and access to new features as they’re released, which is very much in-line with our current offering.

Overall, CLOC was an insightful, invigorating experience for myself and the team at Robin and we can’t wait to go back next year!
