This is an opportunity to take a unique route into legal services and use your deep knowledge of law alongside building knowledge of the legal tech space. Tech Stack

Responsibilities

We are looking for talented people with a passion for law and an interest in legal technology.
The Internal Trainer will be responsible for the training and development of all employees. This includes:

  • Onboarding new hires and coordinating comprehensive orientation and training programs to ensure they are fully prepared to excel in their roles. This includes job-specific skill training as well as company culture and policy education.
  • Acquiring a deep understanding of Robin AI’s platform and utilising it on a daily basis while training the junior team members on its functionality.
  • Conducting a ‘bootcamp’ style training for our junior members of staff and developing a detailed step-by-step blueprint for bootcamp training. This includes an 8-week intensive training course on all aspects of a specific contract.
  • Monitoring the work of junior employees and providing guidance and continuous feedback to support their professional development.
  • Collaborating closely with senior members of the team to identify gaps in knowledge, ensuring that spot-checking is carried out on a regular basis and conducting necessary training to ensure optimal performance.
  • Developing frameworks for best practices around client care, Robin house style and guidance on conducting client calls.
  • Developing and maintaining an internal training schedule that includes refreshers, new skills training, and continuing education programs for L+P team members at all levels. The schedule should align training with key company goals and initiatives.
  • Assisting the Heads of the department in the creation of a junior training strategy, taking into account resource planning and scalability.
  • Serving as the primary liaison with external training and education partners. This includes assessing training needs, evaluating vendors, and managing relationships to set and implement employee development programs.
  • Using knowledge of industry standards and best practices to continuously improve all internal training programs and ensure high quality. Using both quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback to report on the effectiveness of initiatives will be required.

Your Skills

To be considered for the role you must:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in the legal industry, preferably with a previous role focusing on training and development.
  • Have a deep and institutional knowledge of both transactional and commercial contracts.
  • Possess excellent communication, time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Demonstrate a clear commitment to training and development of a team in a high growth mode.
  • Have experience with establishing metrics and using quantitative data in presenting results and outcomes of various projects.
  • Be based in London (or looking to relocate before you start in the role). This role requires three days a week in the office, and 4 during any bootcamp.

Our ideal candidate will also:

  • Have a keen interest in legal technology and contributing to the advancement and development of our product.
  • Have well-rounded experience from different areas.
  • Have a keen commercial sense (and a strong desire to hone it further!) and a pretty good grasp of financial jargon.
  • Want to work in a stimulating, diverse and intellectually challenging environment where multi-disciplinary collaboration is essential to completing projects and achieving results for our incredible clients.
