When Gabrielle joined Robin AI two years ago, she started as a Senior Legal Specialist, bringing her legal expertise to a growing AI company. But her journey didn't stop there. "I initially joined in the Legal team as a Senior Legal Specialist," Gabrielle explains, "but before I joined Robin, I learned some coding and I knew that I wanted to work more with the product."

This desire to combine her legal knowledge with her technical interests led to a significant career shift just a few months ago when she transitioned from the legal team to join Robin AI's Legal Engineering team.

Pioneering the Legal Engineering Role

As a Legal Engineer, Gabrielle now occupies a position at the cutting edge of legal technology, a role that she describes as "very new" and "constantly evolving."

"Basically what we do is we work with the AI engineers on research projects where we use our project management skills and our legal knowledge to help build or improve on product features," she says.

This interdisciplinary role allows her to leverage her legal expertise while contributing directly to the development of AI-powered legal tools that are transforming the industry.

Gabrielle is enthusiastic about the opportunities that legal technology presents for other legal professionals looking to diversify their careers.

"I think legal tech has lots of great opportunities for lawyers who want to change careers or maybe just do something a little bit different but still use their legal knowledge," she shares.
